ABOUT ME

My love for sewing dates back to my home economic school days in Dublin, Ireland when I first sewed my own gown for the school dance but, what really kicked it off this time was the start of the covid-19 pandemic. Masks were required and hard to come by so, what better time to break out the ol' dusty sewing machine. My goal was to sew as many masks as possible to keep the people on our island safe and importantly, stylish, with the small price of a donation. Excess funds were used to give back to our hard-working community.

I treat sewing just as I do with my active lifestyle. I get a little burnt out doing repetitive things (hence why I am a triathlete/ironman!) Therefore, thousands of masks later, I needed a new pattern to challenge myself. I started dabbling around with all kinds of bags, dog wear and other items to gift to friends and family.
